Bathtubs seem to be magnets for soap scum, mildew, and grime, not to mention stubborn stains. To clean the tub fill a spray bottle with a half-and-half solution of vinegar and warm water. Spray the tub surface, let stand for 15 minutes, then wipe down with a cloth. Rinse with clean water and wipe again. To remove tougher stains, make a bathtub cleaner paste of one part hydrogen peroxide to two parts baking soda. Rub the paste on the stain and let stand for 30 minutes to one hour, then wipe and rinse with a cloth. Repeat the process over again until the stain is gone. To keep your tub in the best shape after bathing rinse the tub with clean warm water and whip the tub down with a towel.
