Granite is one of the most popular materials for counters in kitchens and bathrooms since the early 2000s. Granite is as porous as marble, so it is less prone to soaking up oils, spills, and stains. Granite countertops are generally sealed at the time of fabrication. Resealing is necessary if the surface is chipped cracked or damaged in anyway. To clean your Granite counter top, wipe the counter surface with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Don’t use vinegar, Windex, bleach, Lysol, or 409 on granite. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners and sponges.
